Cynwise has the right idea for a prot setup, let’s take it a step further to true 5×2 for PVE.
1 Devastate/Shield Slam (macro)
2 Revenge/Cleave (macro)
3 Rend
4 Thunder Clap
5 Taunt
Shift-1 Battle Shout
Shift-2 Pummel
Shift-3 Charge
Shift-4 Victory Rush
Shift-5 Mount
Middle click, set to what you need most from the following list.
Concussive Blow
Heroic Throw
Challenging Shout
Intimidating Shout
The macro for the shield slam/devastate would be a cast sequence, set to your liking, and the revenge/cleave macro is just both those abilities in a macro.
Obviously some odd stuff here, like no heroic strike, I find the loss acceptable using cleave in its place all the time and gives you the added ability to pick up adds mid fight without much trouble. Also no heal items (potions or bandages) since we are a prot warrior, we shouldn’t need them. No stance stuff, as we will always be in defensive stance. This shouldn’t be too hard to modify if you want multiple stance support, see some of Cynwise’s stuff for ideas there.
I’ve actually used this setup with some modifications for a while now on my warriors, except i rebound some of the shift abilities to A, Q, W as they are easier to reflex hit for me (old school esdf mover here).

My suggestion for a Disc priest, with or without Archangel/Atonement
BUTTON 1 Prayer of Healing
BUTTON 2 Heal/Smite
BUTTON 3 Binding Heal
BUTTON 4 Greater Heal*
BUTTON 5 Dispel Magic**
MOD 1 Prayer of Mending
MOD 2 Power Word: Shield
MOD 3 Pain Suppression/ Power Infusion/ Archangel****
MOD 4 Penance
MOD 5 Cure Disease
MOUSE Power Word: Barrier
* Macroed with Inner Focus.
** Possibly macroed with (or entirely replaced by) Mass Dispel… but I’m not sure how (cast when there’s no target @mouseover, if that’s possible?).
*** Archangel in Smite builds, PS or PI otherwise. Both can be macroed to a target and click-casted effectively.
Renew isn’t central to Disc priest healing, so it’s been left out.
Flash Heal is generally a worse choice than Binding Heal, so it’s been left out as well.
Hymn of Hope and Shadowfiend can be macroed together and click-casted.
Divine Hymn is also click-castable.
Not sure where to put Holy Fire. Probably as a castsequence macro with either Prayer of Mending or Penance.
I’ve tried to arrange it so that cast-time/spammable spells are on the easier-to-press-keys, whereas cooldowns and instants, which don’t require spamming or multiple casts, usually, are on the modifier keys, which are a little bit harder to coordinate. I also tried to line up similar spell types (AoE heals on 1, mainstay/spammable spells on 2, emergency spells on 3, big heals on 4, cleanses on 5).
